LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) — Kanye West treated his wife Kim Kardashian to a surprise party and private screening of Steve Jobs as part of her 35th birthday celebration Wednesday.
Tricking his partner into believing the couple would quietly go see a movie alone together, West gathered Kardashian’s closest friends and family inside the Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas in Westlake, Calif., to surprise her.
In an Instagram post detailing the event, the famed television personality said her party’s guests were all costumed in their best “pregnant Kim look,” with fake baby-bumps distributed to everyone upon arrival.
“Not sure if that was to make me feel less huge or just a fun cool theme but I loved it & had the best time ever,” Kardashian wrote alongside a photo of her white floral birthday cake surrounded by pale roses. “Feeling so comfortable eating churros with a bunch of pregnant women! Just what I needed, the perfect chill yummy food birthday!!!!”
In attendance to Kardashian’s birthday shindig were most of her family including Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner Tyga, Caitlyn Jenner and mother Kris Jenner. Sister Khloe Kardashian did not make it to the relaxed, yet lavish event in order to remain by Lamar Odom’s side as he recovers from an apparent drug overdose that took place on Oct. 13.
The absent Kardashian did dedicate a social media post to her pregnant sister, writing an excited message of celebration. “I pray you know how loved and dope you are!!!” she wrote alongside a photo of the two. “You continuously amaze me by how you do it all. Thank you for always being there for everyone! Today is about you!!! Enjoy it Mrs. West!!! I love you, My bestie, my sister, my rider!”
