Kardashian-Jenner family release a statement in support of Odom

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 16 (UPI) — In the midst of uncertainty regarding former NBA player Lamar Odom’s life-threatening condition, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has stopped publishing on their apps.

According to USA Today, Odom’s estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, along with her sisters Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, released a joint statement Thursday night on their websites in support of the athlete.

“As a family, we’ve decided to hold of on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar,” it reads. “Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

Odom’s father and two children are also at his beside and released a statement earlier Thursday asking for prayers.

“Thank you for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad,” the statement read. “We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers.”

Odom was found unconscious by staff in a brothel known as the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada and rushed to a Las Vegas hospital. Workers say he was using cocaine and taking sexual performance enhancing drugs during his stay.
