NEW YORK, May 8 (UPI) — Kate Hudson sacrificed her strands for an upcoming movie role and chopped her hair off.
Just after making a red carpet appearance at the Met Ball with a bun full of hair adorned with a floral headpiece, the actress, who usually dons a longer look, debuted her new haircut on Instagram and captioned the photo: “First day on set of new film and they’re going to town on my hair!”

The shoulder-legnth hair style that is currently trending among celebrities, is for her newest movie, The Long Night, which is currently in production. The stylist responsible for the new cut reposted the same photo of Hudson, and wrote, “Hot with long hair hot with short hair just sooooo amazingly hot that’s all I can say !”
