LONDON, Nov. 15 (UPI) — Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are to travel together to India for the first time this spring, Kensington Palace tweeted.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit #India in the spring of 2016, at the request of HM’s Government,” the palace announced via Twitter Friday.
“It will be the first time The Duke and Duchess have visited the country. Further #RoyalVisitIndia details will be announced early next year!”
The royal couple married in 2011 and have two children — 2-year-old son Prince George and infant daughter Princess Charlotte.
