LOS ANGELES, April 1 (UPI) — Katy Perry has new, short hair.
The 30-year-old singer previously sported shoulder-length tresses, and chopped her locks off into a pixie cut. Perry likened her look to Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kris Jenner, who also has short, dark hair.
“I asked for the Kris Jenner,” she captioned a photo of her pixie on Instagram. The pop star recently told fans she would keep her hair black for the foreseeable future to mourn the upcoming end of her Prismatic world tour.
Perry and Jenner both attended Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s cruise along the Hudson River on Sunday. The singer released her fourth studio album, Prism, in October 2013, and will bring her accompanying tour to a close October 12 in San Juan.
