LOS ANGELES, April 2 (UPI) — Kelly Clarkson and daughter River Rose stopped by American Idol this week.
The 32-year-old singer brought the 9-month-old infant along when she visited the Fox reality competition Wednesday. Clarkson came to fame after winning season one in 2002, and returned to mentor the top nine season 14 contestants and perform.
“My entourage outside my dressing room at #American Idol today,” she captioned a photo of husband Brandon Blackstock with River Rose. Clarkson went on to sing her audition song, “At Last” by Etta James, in addition to her new single, “Heartbeat Song.”
Clarkson and Blackstock married in October 2013, and welcomed River Rose in June 2014. The singer released new album Piece by Piece in February, and announced an accompanying tour in March. The tour will kick off July 11 in Hershey, Pa., and close October 17 in Vancouver, B.C.
