LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) — Singer and actress Kelly Rowland surprised fans with the quiet release Monday night of her latest single.
The Empire actress used her Soundcloud profile to share “Dumb,” which features sultry lyrics, a piano melody and an upbeat tune. The single will be part of Rowland’s new album, her first since Talk a Good Game debuted in 2013.
Rowland’s fans tweeted they had the song “on repeat,” calling it “a club song for sure” that is “on fire.”
Aside from working on the new tune and playing Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) mother on the star-studded music series Empire, Rowland was recently selected to be a judge on BET’s upcoming reality show Chasing Destiny, where female singers will audition to join a new girl group.
Rowland has also kept busy with her 11-month-old son, Titan, whom she shares with husband Tim Witherspoon.
