Kendall Jenner addresses Bruce Jenner’s gender transition

LOS ANGELES, March 18 (UPI) — Kendall Jenner has broken her silence on dad Bruce Jenner’s gender transition.

The 19-year-old model is the first member of her immediate family to explicitly address the 65-year-old reality star’s rumored change from male to female. Jenner voiced support for her father in an interview with Us Weekly at the Comedy Central roast of Justin Bieber over the weekend.

“I love my dad,” she declared. “He’s always been there for me and my sisters. He’s a wonderful man. And just because he’s changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn’t make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he’s a man or a woman.”

Bruce Jenner’s changing appearance has been the topic of tabloid speculation for months. The reality star’s mother, Esther Jenner, confirmed her son’s gender transition in February, and Bruce Jenner will reportedly detail the change himself in an upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer.

Jenner and her family came to fame on E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premiered a 10th season Sunday. The burgeoning model holds campaigns with Estée Lauder and Karl Lagerfeld, and announced this week she and sister Kylie Jenner will release a mobile game.
