Kenny G serenades Delta passengers for charity

April 23 (UPI) — Kenny G offered an upbeat note Saturday to recent stories of tempers flaring on airline flights.

The saxophonist gave Delta passengers on a flight from Tampa to Los Angeles a surprise performance.

A flight attendant announced the crew was raising money for the Relay for Life charity, Kenny G agreed to perform if $2,000 could be raised on the flight.

The goal was met and Kenny G kept his promise.

“It was just an amazing moment,” one passenger told Storyful. “So awesome of him to do that so randomly, and for such a great cause.”
