Kickstarter campaign sets record for longest tattoo chain

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 2 (UPI) — A Kickstarter campaign to produce literary based temporary tattoos offered its supporters the opportunity to create the world’s longest tattoo chain.

Litographs, a Kickstarter campaign funded in summer of 2014, set the record for the world’s longest tattoo chain by tattooing over 5,000 people with passages from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

The first 5,258 backers who supported the project at the $1 or higher received a temporary tattoo with a random passage from either book.

Once all of the tattoos were distributed, Litographs encouraged backers to send in photos of their tattoos and compiled them all together in their proper order in a web page.
