LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 (UPI) — Kim Kardashian anxiously revealed her unborn son is breech on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old reality star shared the news in a blog post on her website, telling fans her baby is in the wrong position for childbirth. Kardashian is pregnant with her second child by husband Kanye West, and expects her son to be born in December.
“His head is still up and it’s supposed to be down,” she explained. “I’ve learned that you actually can deliver a breech baby and I feel fortunate that my doctor Paul Crane is one of the few doctors that still does this. That just don’t even teach it anymore.”
Kardashian said she will do everything in her power to avoid a C-section, which is typically used to deliver breech babies. The reality star is attempting a number of methods to turn her son, including pregnancy chiropractic sessions.
“I have been doing everything I can,” she shared. “I lay practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes. I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture … [and] hypnosis!”
Kardashian is already mother to 2-year-old daughter North West, who is reportedly excited to meet her baby brother. The reality star recently shared her concerns about her high-risk delivery, and admitted the last month of pregnancy is “no fun” to E! News this week.
Healthy human babies are typically born between 39 and 40 weeks, so Kardashian may have some time left yet. The reality star and her family returned for an 11th season of E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians this month, which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
