NEW YORK, June 3 (UPI) — It was Pharrell Williams to the rescue Monday night at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York City.
Kim Kardashian, who was at the event to present an award to Instagram founder Kevin Systrom, tweeted afterward that her feathered Proenza Schouler dress caught fire.
Luckily, Williams and his wife, Helen Lasichanh, were on hand to extinguish the flames.
“[Shoutout] to Pharrell & Helen! After the awards the feathers of my dress caught on fire and they jumped on me to get it out,” Kardashian wrote.
Kardashian, 34, walked the CFDA Awards red carpet with husband Kanye West. Kardashian revealed Sunday in a teaser for Keeping Up With the Kardashians that the couple is expecting their second child.
