NASHVILLE, Jan. 12 (UPI) — Country star Kimberly Schlapman recently adopted a baby girl.

The 47-year-old Little Big Town singer shared a first photo of daughter Dolly on social media Thursday after welcoming the infant with husband Stephen Schlapman.

“The New Year brought our family new love. We’re so excited to introduce you to Daisy’s little sister, Dolly Grace,” she captioned a picture of herself with Stephen, Dolly and 9-year-old daughter Daisy.

Little Big Town reps told The Tennessean that Schlapman and her husband welcomed Dolly on New Year’s Eve via a domestic adoption. The couple reportedly spent “a lengthy amount of time in the adoption process” but kept the news quiet.

“Little Big Town just got a little bit bigger,” Little Big Town re-tweeted on its official account. “Introducing baby Dolly. We love you angel.”

Schlapman and her husband married in 2006 and welcomed Daisy the next year. The country star was previously wed to Steven Roads, who was killed by a drunk driver in a car crash in 2005.

“We don’t take a single thing for granted,” she said of herself and her bandmates in an interview with HuffPost Live in 2015. “I’m grateful for that, because I wanna be the kind of person that drinks things in today, because tomorrow it may well be gone.”

Little Big Town, which also consists of Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet, last released the album Wanderlust in June, which includes the single “One of Those Days.” The band will release their eighth studio album, The Breaker, this year.
