Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell team up for secret Lifetime movie

LOS ANGELES, April 2 (UPI) — Kirsten Wiig and Will Ferrell join forces in an upcoming Lifetime movie called A Deadly Adoption.

The Hollywood Reporter shared the news Wednesday, claiming the film has already been shot and is executive produced by Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions.

A Deadly Adoption fallows a successful couple who can’t have children, as they take care of a younger woman who is pregnant (Jessica Lowndes) in the hoped of adopting her baby. The film is described as “campy and fun” and is expected to be released in the summer.

Ferrel, 47, reportedly approached the cable network and expressed interest to star in one of its television films as he is “a huge fan” of Lifetime movies. The network begun its original movie empire in 1990 with the release of Memories of Murder.
