NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) — Funny lady, Kristen Wiig dressed up as Khalessi from Game of Thrones Wednesday night during an appearance on The Tonight Show.
The Saturday Night Live alumni started off the interview with an accent that quickly faded. She wore a dress and wig similar to Emilia Clarke’s character on the HBO show and even had a dragon on her shoulder to rightfully portray the Mother of Dragons.
Wiig visited the late night talk show to promote her new film Welcome to Me, which Fallon debuted a clip from in the video above. In the movie, the actress portrays a woman who wins the lottery and buys her own talk show.
In an interview with The Violet Files, Wiig discussed her character in the upcoming film.
“I didn’t want to make it too light. And that was hard because there are funny things in this movie but I never wanted it to seem like I was making fun of her, I was more nervous about the comedy in the film than I was the drama for that reason,” she said.
The Bridesmaids star also revealed that at some point in the movie she is nude, “Being naked in a film or on stage isn’t always supposed to be sexy,” she said. “It was the part and it felt right, so I did it, Of course you’re nervous, and you know people are gonna make comments but if you care about that, your job instantly becomes more difficult. You have to do things for you.”
Welome to Me hits theaters May 8.
