Kylie Jenner defends Instagram photo from critics who say she is wearing blackface

LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) — Model and reality TV personality Kylie Jenner is on the defensive after a photo she posted on Instagram sparked online cries of racial insensitivity.

“What I wish I looked like all the time,” Jenner, 17, captioned Saturday’s image.

{link:Us Weekly said: “http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/kylie-jenner-responds-going-blackface-201554″,nw} she deleted the photo and message after some detractors likened the darker skin tone she featured in it to blackface.

“This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down,” she said in a subsequent post, accompanying an image of her with a darker, bronzed skin tone, blue eyes and colorful streaks in her hair.
