WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 (UPI) — Actress and TV personality La La Anthony vaguely responded to public allegations saying she cheated on her husband with rapper Maino.
A representative for the Power actress told Us Weekly online accusations by Maino’s supposed girlfriend are untrue. Anthony took to Instagram Wednesday to mock her “haters” after the backlash.
“IF YOU AINT GOT NO HATERS, YOU AINT POPPING!!!” Anthony wrote alongside a photo of two friends wearing “got haters?” tank tops. On Thursday, the Think Like a Man star posted a video with her husband, NBA player Carmelo Anthony, lip-syncing to Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s “All Eyes On You.”
What started as an Instagram allegation turned into a national rumor when alleged girlfriend of rapper Maino called out Anthony for having an affair with him.
“How does it feel to be the slut responsible for [Maino’s] daughter never waking up to her father again,” Patrice E wrote in a since-deleted post. “@lala does your husband know that your hoe [expletive] has been [expletive]-ing my daughters father. That you slept over his house the other night after the movies.”
Neither La La Anthony — born Alani Vasquez — nor her husband have yet to release an official statement regarding the allegations.
