LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) — Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert is a first-time mom.

The 33-year-old actress revealed in an Instagram post Thursday that she and husband David Nehdar welcomed a daughter, Julia Mimi Bella, on Sept. 1.

“‘And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you,’” Chabert quoted poet Iain Thomas in the caption. “#TBT to the best day of my life.”

“One week ago I became a mom to this precious angel. Julia Mimi Bella,” she announced. “Julia, you are my heart’s deepest dream come true. I love you more than I could ever say. Welcome to this big beautiful world sweet girl!”

Chabert had announced in February that she and Nehdar were expecting their first child. The actress said in a blog post for People in August that her pregnancy had alternately “flown by” and “felt like an eternity.”

“It’s surreal and beyond exciting that my due date is finally approaching!” she wrote. “In some moments I feel completely ready and in others, I panic that we have forgotten to take care of something before her arrival.”

“All I know for certain is this: I have never been more excited to meet someone,” the star gushed. “The thought of finally laying my eyes on her little face fills my heart with joy deeper than I’ve ever felt before. She’s already a blessing to us.”

Chabert is known for playing Gretchen Weiners in Mean Girls and has since appeared in several Hallmark Channel movies. She has also had a number of voice roles, including for Family Guy, Young Justice and Kulipari.
