Lena Dunham says she once hooked up with ‘Girls’ guest actor

Feb. 2 (UPI) — Lena Dunham says she once hooked up with a guest actor on her show Girls.

The 30-year-old actress admitted Wednesday in a Times Talks interview that she made out with a day player actor during Season 1 of the HBO series.

“I did make out with a day player actor on our show first season,” Dunham confessed after co-star Allison Williams remarked that “none of us had trysts with our co-stars.”

“[It was] before we understood the full boundaries of professionalism,” she explained. “I was like, ‘You’ve been on set for eight hours. You seem interested in me and my power. I would love to go to the 11th Street Bar with you.’”

“Then I kind of got there, I was like, ‘Oh God, this person doesn’t even think I’m cute.’ He’s just like, ‘She runs a TV show and I’m an actor,’” the star recalled. “I was like, ‘This is a nightmare. I’ve inadvertently become the grossest male producer.’”

Dunham has since started dating musician Jack Antonoff, and received a moonstone ring from the Bleachers singer in April for their anniversary. The actress had denied engagement rumors in 2015 after she was spotted wearing a different ring.

“That ring that everyone was talking about is a friendship ring I wear with [Girls writer] Jenni [Konner],” she told E! News at the time.

“I love my boyfriend, I’m very lucky to call him my life partner, but you will sooner see me pregnant with twins,” the star asserted.

Dunham is the creator and star of Girls, which will return for a sixth and final season Feb. 12. The series follows four 20-somethings in New York and co-stars Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Adam Driver.
