NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (UPI) — The hunt is now on for those responsible for hacking into Leslie Jones’ iCloud account and website.

“ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in New York does currently have an open investigation,” the Department of Homeland Security noted to The Wrap on Thursday.

“As a matter of agency policy, we are unable to disclose any information related to an active investigation,” they continued.

Homeland Security’s involvement comes after TMZ reported that the FBI is also taking on the case and will be developing a strategy for tracking down those responsible for the hack.

The Ghostbusters star was forced to take down her website, justleslie.com Wednesday after hackers took over the site by posting photos of her driver’s license and passport in addition to several nude photos gleaned from her iCloud account.

The attack comes after Jones was the target of a hate campaign on social media following her involvement in Ghostbusters. Several users were permanently banned from Twitter after the incident including noted conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.

Following the hack, various celebrities including Ghostbusters director Paul Feig and Katy Perry supported Jones on social media by condemning the attack. “What’s happening to @Lesdoggg is an absolute outrage. Alt right, haters, trolls, ‘comedians,’ whoever the [expletive] you all are, you’re just sad,” Feig tweeted.

“Do not give your eyeballs to this racist, hate-filled, misogynoir crime. I #StandWithLeslie,” Perry tweeted.

Jones was last seen as guest host during NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics.
