NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (UPI) — Rapper and actor LL Cool J’s son Najee Smith has been arrested after taking part in a physical altercation early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Smith became violent with security guards at Catch, an eatery in the city’s Meatpacking District, when they prompted him to leave. The 26-year-old is suspected to have been intoxicated at the time of the incident, authorities tell CNN.
Specific charges Smith may face are unknown at this time.
LL Cool J — real name James Todd Smith — is a rapper and actor who is known for his leading role in NCIS: Los Angeles. He has four children with wife Simone Smith including Najee.
