LONDON, Dec. 10 (UPI) — Authorities in Britain released footage of a thief who took a case of energy drinks from a supermarket making a low-speed getaway on a hoverboard.
The London Metropolitan Police shared CCTV footage from the co-op store in the Mitcham neighborhood showing the man riding on his self-balancing scooter in the store.
The man takes a case of Lucozade energy drinks from the store and casually rides out on his hoverboard at a low speed.
Police said they are hoping members of the public can help identify the man from the footage of the Sept. 6 incident.
