SEATTLE, Oct. 5 (UPI) — Macklemore delighted fans by sharing a new photo with daughter Sloane on Saturday.
The 32-year-old rapper posted a picture of himself napping with the 4-month-old infant on Instagram. “There is nothing better,” he captioned the snapshot of his cozily swaddled daughter.
Macklemore and wife Tricia Davis welcomed Sloane at the end of May. The couple have been together since 2006, and wed in June after same-sex marriage was made legal in the U.S.
“There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe,” the rapper said of dedicating “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” to his daughter. “She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life.”
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis last released The Heist, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles “Can’t Hold Us” and “Thrift Shop.” The duo are expected to release a new album by the end of the year.
