Malia Obama may be interning for Lena Dunham this summer

BROOKLYN, N.Y., July 6 (UPI) — It looks like there are going to be a lot of coffee runs for the president’s daughter over the next couple of months.

Malia Obama, daughter of U.S. President Barack Obama, was seen on the set of the HBO series Girls this weekend sipping on some blue juice with the lighting crew.

The popular series was created and produced by actress Lena Dunham, who also stars in the show.

USA Today reports that rumors started when the first teen was spotted on set at a Brooklyn restaurant.

But this isn’t the 17-year-old’s first time working in television.

Last summer, Obama was spotted in Los Angeles working as a production assistant on the set of Halle Berry’s CBS show Exant.

First lady Michelle Obama says her daughter has always had her eyes on Hollywood and is interested in becoming a filmmaker.

But it seems that the reports have already stirred up some drama among conservatives.
