Mandy Moore asks Ryan Adams for spousal support, pet care

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11 (UPI) — Mandy Moore and husband Ryan Adams are still negotiating the terms of their divorce.

The 31-year-old actress and 41-year-old singer announced their split in January after Adams filed to end their marriage, but have yet to agree on a settlement.

Moore is seeking spousal support and help caring and paying for their eight pets, according to court documents. TMZ reported Moore wants $37,000 of Adams’ $151,000 per month earnings until terms are reached, and for the singer to take four pets into his care.

“Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time,” the actress wrote in her petition, per People magazine. “Without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like.”

Moore and Adams married in March 2009, and were separated before the singer filed for divorce. The actress has since been linked to Dawes frontman Taylor Goldman, and spent time with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, who is dating singer Demi Lovato, in October.

Moore released her sixth studio album, Amanda Leigh, in 2009, and recently played Dr. Erin Grace on Red Band Society. She will next star in 47 Meters Down with Claire Holt, while Adams last release was a cover album of Taylor Swift’s 1989 in September.
