LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) — Broadcast journalist and former California first lady Maria Shriver has tweeted her support for reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner.
Olympian Bruce Jenner introduced his new female persona on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine Monday.
Among her many well-wishers was Shriver, who praised Jenner as a “brave new voice” in the “women’s empowerment space.”
“Finally free. This made me stop. The feeling of freedom. You go, @Caitlyn_Jenner!” Shriver tweeted. “Embrace your true self.”
