Marshawn Lynch’s agent aimed tweet at Russell Wilson during Seattle Seahawks game

SEATTLE, Nov. 18 (UPI) — The 4-5 Seattle Seahawks have their critics, but one could be within its ranks.

Doug Hendrickson, Marshawn Lynch’s San Francisco-based agent, tweeted his discontent toward Russell Wilson during Seattle’s 39-32 loss Sunday.

Hendrickson tweeted, and then deleted “@DangeRussWilson pull your head out of your….”

Wilson completed 14-of-32 passes for 240 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the loss.
NFL Media’s Rand Getlin was able to grab a screenshot of the tweet before Hendrickson could press delete, but the damage could be done.

The Seahawks lost Super Bowl XLIX to the New England Patriots in the fourth quarter after coach Pete Carroll called a passing play on second in goal with 26 seconds remaining in the game. The play call mystified critics, including Seahawks players, who thought Carroll should have given the ball to Lynch, who had run for 102 yards and 4.3 yards per carry in the game.

Wilson, 26, signed a five-year, $89.142 million contract in July. The Wisconsin product’s contract includes $60 million guaranteed and a $31 million signing bonus.

Lynch, 29, signed a three-year, $31 million deal with $12 million guaranteed and a $7.5 million signing bonus in March.

“There are things that he’s got to do better,” Carroll said of Wilson on 710 ESPN Seattle’s “Brock and Salk.” “He knows that. When we miss those in critical games when we’re in difficult situations, he’s got to help us come through to get out of it.”

This season, Wilson career lows in quarterback rating [91.7] and QBR [56.61]. Wilson has completed 175-of-266 passes for 2,118 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Wilson ranks as Pro Football Focus’ No. 13 quarterback.
