MIAMI (AP) — Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao were finally together Tuesday night.
At a Miami Heat game, that is.
Mayweather had a courtside seat next to the Heat bench, directly across from Pacquiao’s seat on the opposite sideline for a game against the Bucks. The two fighters may be getting closer to a long anticipated bout that would be the richest ever in boxing — potentially grossing as much as $250 million.
Mayweather said last month that he’s ready to make the fight happen May 2.
Pacquiao responded a few days later on social media, telling Mayweather that it’s time to “give the fans the fight they want.” In recent days, another tweet was posted to Pacquiao’s account where he said “I can easily beat @FloydMayweather, I believe that.”
