PARIS, July 8 (UPI) — Meg Ryan made a rare public appearance Monday.
The 53-year-old actress resurfaced to attend the Schiaparelli show at Paris Haute Couture Week. Ryan was last spotted on the red carpet at the 41st annual Chaplin Award Gala in April 2014.
The star took in the label’s Fall/Winter 2015-2016 collection next to French actress and Schiaparelli spokesmodel Farida Khelfa. Actresses Alice Eve and Carice van Houten and photographer Jean-Paul Goude were also in attendance.
Schiparelli and Khelfa both shared photos of Ryan on Instagram, writing, “Actress Meg Ryan wearing Schiaparelli Haute Couture turned out this past Monday at the Place Vendôme to discover Design Director Bertrand Guyon’s first collection for the House.”
Ryan last appeared in Serious Moonlight in 2009, and is scheduled for Fan Girl with Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka and Ithaca with Sleepless in Seattle co-star Tom Hanks. The actress bought a New York loft last August following her split from John Mellencamp.
