LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) — Former Spice Girl singer and America’s Got Talent judge Mel B posted a video on Instagram imploring fans to help her catch a thief who broke into her car outside her Beverly Hills home.
And she’s putting up $5,000 to do it.
Mel B, whose full name is Melanie Brown, posted the video to Instagram Friday, showing security footage from earlier that morning. The video shows a white male in a sweat suit breaking the rear windshield of Brown’s car and pulling out two suitcases before running away. It appears as though nothing was actually stolen. The thief runs off without the suitcases and the video ends.
“I have a $5,000 reward to anyone who knows this [expletive], I don’t care who was involved I want this guy caught. At 5:42 a.m., last night this scum bag did this to my car,” the singer wrote.
Los Angeles Police are investigating the incident.
