MIAMI, Nov. 9 (UPI) — It doesn’t sound like Ndamukong Suh is trying to get attention away from his on-field reputation.
In Sunday’s 33-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins defensive end narrowly missed a sack and had words for the referee afterwards.
Suh rushed quarterback Tyrod Taylor, grabbed him up high and twirled him around, but Taylor tossed the ball away for an incompletion.
After the play, Suh was caught on the official’s microphone saying: “I’m going to slam the [expletive] out of him next time.” Suh wanted the official to rule his play a sack.
The referees ended up calling holding on the play, and the Bills replayed the down. One play later, Taylor tossed a 44-yard touchdown to wide receiver Sammy Watkins.
Suh, 28, has totaled about $420,000 in fines. Suh was fined three times in 2010, twice in 2011, once in 2012, twice in 2013 and once in 2014.
It has been his alleged “stomping” incidents that have earned Suh the most attention. Suh was suspended two games for stomping on Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith and fined $70,000 last season for stepping on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Suh was not fined earlier this season when it appeared he had kicked off the helmet of Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris. Suh signed a six-year, $114 million deal this offseason with the Dolphins.

Suh has 39 sacks and 196 tackles in 86 career games for the Detroit Lions and Dolphins.
