Miami’s Bosh recovery continues, with eye on next season

MIAMI (AP) — Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat will be evaluated by team doctors later this month and is on schedule to resume “full basketball activities” in September.

The team made the announcement Monday night, just before Bosh was scheduled to meet with reporters and discuss how he’s recovering from having blood clots on one of his lungs.

The Heat say Bosh may begin exercising later this month, “with plans to start strength training next month.”

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says the team has been looking forward to seeing the All-Star forward, noting “how fortunate, how privileged we are, to be involved in this game.”
