SHERMAN OAKS, Calif., May 31 (UPI) — Prince Jackson, the eldest of the late Michael Jackson’s three children, has graduated from Buckley High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Us Weekly reported 18-year-old Prince’s grandmother Katherine, younger sister Paris and other relatives were spotted in the front row at Saturday’s ceremony.
“When they announced his name, the whole Jackson family stood up and cheered and whistled,” said one eyewitness. “Prince was ecstatic as he crossed the stage and picked up his diploma.”
Michael died in 2009 of an accidental, doctor-administered overdose of anesthesia and sedatives. He was 50.
