MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 8 (UPI) — A Microsoft intern-recruiting email inviting “BAE” interns to get “lit” and enjoy “hella noms” at a beer pong party was decried by the company as “poorly worded.”

Twitter user Patrick Burtchaell said his roommate in the Mountain View, Calif., area received an email invitation to an “exclusive after party” hosted by Microsoft at the July 11 Internapalooza event in San Francisco.

The email, written in multi-colored text, reads:
