MIAMI, May 11 (UPI) — While on vacation in Miami, Fla., Miles Teller came to the rescue of a pregnant woman he though was struggling to get out of the rough beach waters.
The Whiplash actor and his girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry, were enjoying an afternoon at the beach when Teller noticed a woman and her young child getting caught in a riptide. He rushed to their side and held the womans hand to help her out of the water.
Sperry posted a photograph on Instagram with a note about the incident, revealing that it wasn’t the rough waters that scared the pregnant woman, it was a shark. She captioned: “She came up to us freaking out telling us to not freak out but It was a shark. And the scariest moment ever hahah poor lady. :(( pregnant with a toddler on her back.”
