ST. MICHAEL, Minn., July 20 (UPI) — Minnesota police said a teenager pulled over with a cracked windshield was found to have three teens soaking in a makeshift pool in the bed of his pickup.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the 16-year-old driver was pulled over last month in St. Michael for driving with a cracked windshield and the trooper soon noticed there were three swimsuit-clad female passengers in the bed of the pickup, which “was lined with a tarp and filled with water.”
The state patrol said there are no specific laws against the practice, but the driver was issued a warning for unsafe operation, driving with a cracked windshield and driving without current proof of insurance.
The three passengers were initially ticketed for not wearing seat belts, but the citations were later rescinded.
