LONDON, Aug. 4 (UPI) — To mark the 40th anniversary of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Park Circus and Sony Pictures will re-release the film in over 500 U.K. theaters for one night only.
A new sing-a-long version of the 1975 comedy will be featured to commemorate the anniversary on Oct. 14.
Monty Python fans are encouraged to engage with an interactive social media campaign leading up to the theatrical re-release. They are also urged to arrive at one of the allotted theaters dressed as their favorite character, which could include Arthur, the Black Knight, Lancelot, the Green Knight or a member of the Knights Who Say Ni.
The screenings will also feature a special introduction from Monty Python’s Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.
The film will be released internationally in the United States by Rainbow Releasing.
