Netflix orders second season of ‘Bloodline’

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 1 (UPI) — Netflix says it has ordered a second season of its series Bloodline and plans to start streaming it in 2016.

The 13-episode first season was made available in its entirety last month. Set in the Florida Keys, the show stars Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz and Jacinda Barrett.

Netflix described it as “a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family.”
