New ‘Steve Jobs’ trailer released after Telluride fest debut

HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 17 (UPI) — The latest trailer for Danny Boyle’s biopic Steve Jobs shows a fast-paced, dramatic look into the life of Apple’s co-creator.

Michael Fassbender plays the stoic inventor alongside Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels in the trailer, which follows Jobs’ career until the launch of 1998’s iMac.

“What if the computer was a beautiful object, something you want to look at and have in your home?” Fassbender asks in the trailer. “And what if, instead of being in the right hands, it was in everyone’s hands?”

After debuting at this month’s Telluride Film Festival in Colorado to rave reviews, Universal Pictures’ Jobs heads first to the New York Film Festival and then to theaters in Oct. 9.
