Newest ‘Game of Thrones’ actor possibly revealed

BALLINTOY HARBOUR, Ireland, Sept. 2 (UPI) — As Game of Thrones films its sixth season Northern Ireland, sources say they’ve discovered the show’s newest actor: Pilou Asbaek.

The 33-year-old Danish actor is best known for his roles in Lucy alongside Scarlett Johansson and A Hijacking and was reportedly spotted on the set of Game of Thrones. No confirmations from HBO have been made regarding Asbaek’s participation.

Sources who witnessed the filming of a major scene this week told GoT fan community Watchers On the Wall may play the role of Euron Greyjoy — if he is even featured this season.

Greyjoy is mentioned several times in the GoT series but most notably in A Feast for Crows. He is the captain of the ship of Silence, which is run by a mute crew.

Filming will reportedly continue at the Ballintoy Harbour for the rest of the week.
