BRIGHTON, England, Nov. 11 (UPI) — A coroner’s report reveals the teenage son of Nick Cave had taken LSD before falling to his death from the a cliff in Brighton.
The report was revealed Tuesday, several months after Arthur Cave, 15, accidentally dropped 60 feet down the Ovingdean Gap in England and died shortly after. A testimony suggests the young Cave ingested the drug with a friend just before the fall, People reports.
The Cave family released a statement regarding Arthur, remembering him as, “a wonderfully unruly, creative and free-spirited young man with an infectious, happy, funny daredevil nature. He loved his friends and family, idolized his twin brother Earl and was never far from his side,” according to Us Weekly.
In July, Nick Cave, 58, and his wife Susie Bick, 46, released a statement confirming the death of their son. Reports revealed Arthur and his surviving brother Earl had recently finished their 10th grade year and had both starred in their school’s production of Much Ado About Nothing. Their father Nick is best known for his frontman role in the band Bad Seeds.
