LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) — Nick Jonas says girlfriend Olivia Culpo is a great source of support.
The 22-year-old singer-turned-actor discussed the Miss Universe 2012 winner in an interview with People published Sunday. Jonas is best known as a member of former pop act the Jonas Brothers, and told the magazine Culpo has eased his transition to a solo career.
“I think anytime you have a teammate it makes things a little easier,” he said of life with the 22-year-old pageant veteran. “It has been a wild ride and a crazy year and a half. It’s been really special.”
Jonas and Culpo met at the Miss USA 2013 competition, which the singer co-hosted with Giuliana Rancic and Jeannie Mai. The couple started dating shortly after, and attended the Radio Disney Music Awards together over the weekend.
Jonas and brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas disbanded the Jonas Brothers in 2013. The singer currently stars as Nate Kulina on Audience Network series Kingdom, and is slated for new Fox horror-comedy Scream Queens with Lea Michele.
