LOS ANGELES, March 26 (UPI) — Wisconsin basketball player Nigel Hayes was caught on a hot mic during a press appearance complimenting one of the women at the media event.
He was speaking to the press and answering when questions when he took a second to whisper “Gosh, she is beautiful” to his teammates about either a reporter or stenographer.
Unfortunately, Hayes’ mic picked up the compliment and a collective giggle was heard from the media.
“Did you hear that?” asked Hayes before blushing and putting his hands over his face. His teammates snickered as well.
This is not the first time they have had an odd interaction with a stenographer. During a post game presser, they became fascinated with the stenographer and her craft.
