LOS ANGELES, May 4 (UPI) — Nikki Reed and husband Ian Somerhalder are enjoying a sun-filled honeymoon.
The 26-year-old actress and 36-year-old actor wed in Malibu, Calif., on April 26, and subsequently traveled to Tulum, Mexico. Reed took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with Somerhalder on Saturday, and the couple have since moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
“Salty…sandy…sticky…sunburned. The best. I love this human. My human,” she captioned the beaming kiss photo. The star added “Bom dia Brasil! Eu te amo” to a picture of the Rio coastline.
Reed and Somerhalder were first linked in summer 2014, and confirmed their engagement in February. The actress is best known for portraying Rosalie Hale in the Twilight series of films, while Somerhalder plays Damon Salvatore on The CW series The Vampire Diaries.
