LOS ANGELES, May 15 (UPI) — Nina Dobrev remembered her time on The Vampire Diaries ahead of her final episode Thursday.
The 26-year-old actress shared a number of throwback photos of herself on set of The CW series on Instagram. Dobrev portrayed Elena Gilbert on the supernatural drama for six seasons, and announced her departure in April.
Dobrev also posted several pictures of her post-final episode celebration with her castmates. The actress and former boyfriend Ian Somerhalder were among the stars who doused each other in silly string and cake.
The Vampire Diaries premiered in 2009, and will continue to star Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Kat Graham. The series follows the supernatural inhabitants of fictional small town Mystic Falls, Va., and was renewed for a seventh season in January.
