Noodle measuring nearly 2 miles long breaks Guinness record

Dec. 15 (UPI) — A Chinese food company cooked its way into the Guinness Book of World Records by creating a noodle measuring nearly two miles long.

Guinness officials said the Xiangnian Food Co. cooked up a single noodle strand measuring a whopping 10,119 feet, 1.92 inches.

The impressive pasta smashed the previous record of 1,800 feet, 2 inches.

Guinness posted a video to its official YouTube channel showing the noodle being made, measured and ultimately served to a hungry public.
