WASHINGTON, June 29 (UPI) — Olivia Munn, who is preparing to join the X-Men cast, is kind of getting some help from football player boyfriend Aaron Rodgers in preparation for her upcoming role.
Munn, 34, who recently posted a video to her Instagram titled “Learned some new tricks…” is seen showing off her katana skills, and features her boyfriend goofing off in the background.
While in the background, Rodgers, 31, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is seen playfully making moves that would fit more in an old Bruce Lee picture. In contrast, Munn is showing off some serious sword skills in the video.
According to ABC News, Munn is slated to appear in the 2016 X-Men: Apocalypse film as Betsy Braddock better known as Psylocke.
Though the studio has been tightlipped since they announced that Psylocke would have purple hair a month ago according to CinemaBlend.
The Instagram video shows that preparations are underway for the new film and Munn’s addition to the expanding X-Men universe. Munn’s video on Instagram proves she, unlike Rodgers is taking her training very seriously.
