PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 18 (UPI) — An Oregon daredevil strapped on his skis and a GoPro camera to take on an unconventional slope: three flights of escalators.
The video, shared on the official GoPro YouTube channel, features skier Daniel Freed Schwartz strapping on his skis at the top of an escalator and skiing down three flights into a parking garage.
“No snow? No problem. With a creative idea and the help of his friends, Daniel Freed Schwartz claims a first descent like none other; by skiing down a series of escalators,” the video’s description reads.
The description says the video was submitted by Schwartz for GoPro’s Line of the Winter contest.
