ANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 16 (UPI) — Orlando Bloom is to reprise his role as Will Turner in the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Disney confirmed the casting news this weekend, but offered no details about how the character will return to the franchise. Turner was last seen in the third Pirates of the Caribbean adventure, 2007’s At World’s End.
Starring Pirates regulars Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush, the latest movie has already wrapped production in Australia, Zap2it.com reported. It is set for release July 7, 2017.
