LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) — Pentatonix is to perform the iconic Star Wars score, written by John Williams, with a full-symphony orchestra at the upcoming American Music Awards ceremony.
The acapella group’s planned appearance has been confirmed by Dick Clark Productions and ABC.
Jennifer Lopez is to host the Nov. 22 prize presentation. The lineup of performers will include previously announced artists 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, One Direction, Carrie Underwood, Walk the Moon, Luke Bryan, Karen Fairchild, Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth.
The eagerly awaited sequel Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is set for release Dec. 18.
